The man who brought SIAMVIC® to Bangladesh
Dunhill Corporation Ltd. was founded by Mr. A.M.M. Ruhul Amin, who holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Chittagong. He started the business in 1994 and introduced the SIAMVIC® brand to Bangladesh. At a time when few local manufacturers knew the name, he built it grade by grade and customer by customer, until SIAMVIC® became a well-known and trusted name across the country's plastics industry. That work is the foundation everything else here stands on.
An energetic sales and marketing man by nature, he built the business the hard way — going to the factories himself, learning what each line needed, and earning trust one customer at a time. His background in chemistry meant he could talk to a production manager about the material itself, not just the price, and that has shaped how this company sells ever since. He remains Chairman of the company and is actively involved today, still guiding supplier relationships and still meeting customers personally.
Since 2010 he has been joined by Mr. Moinuddin Juwel, who came in as Director that year after completing his BBA and MBA, and now serves as Chief Executive Officer. He has been equally active in developing the market, bringing in corporate customers and widening the grade range on offer. Between them the company has both sides covered — the chemistry of the product and the commercial discipline to run it at scale. Together they have taken Dunhill Corporation to its position today as one of the biggest sellers of PVC resin in Bangladesh. Across three decades the focus has not changed: consistent product quality, efficient logistics and dependable customer support.
Founded by Mr. A.M.M. Ruhul Amin
A Chemistry Master's graduate from the University of Chittagong, he started the company as an international marketing arm and indenting house in Dhaka — trading PVC resin, industrial chemicals and polyolefins, and bringing the SIAMVIC® brand to Bangladesh for the first time.
Appointed agent of AGC Vinythai PCL
Became the authorized local agent for Thailand's AGC Vinythai, giving Bangladeshi manufacturers direct access to SIAMVIC® resin without a trading chain in between.
Mr. Moinuddin Juwel joins as Director
A BBA and MBA graduate, he joined the company in 2010 and now serves as Chief Executive Officer, active in developing the PVC resin market and bringing a growing base of corporate customers to Dunhill.
