SIAMVIC® 266GB
SIAMVIC® 266GB is the general-purpose K66 suspension PVC resin from AGC Vinythai PCL, Thailand, supplied in Bangladesh by Dunhill Corporation Ltd. — the authorized local agent since 1998. It is the workhorse grade for flexible work: artificial leather and rexine, hose, wire and cable, soft profile, film and sheet, shoe soles and sandals.
Short answer: if you make artificial leather or rexine, PVC hose, wire and cable compound, soft profile, floor mat or shoe soles, 266GB is the AGC Vinythai grade written for that job. Its lower apparent bulk density (0.520 kg/l) and porous particle structure let the resin absorb plasticizer quickly and evenly, which is exactly what a flexible formulation needs — fast dry blending, consistent gelation, no soft spots.

What SIAMVIC 266GB is used for
These are the end uses listed on the manufacturer's own technical data sheet. In Bangladesh, artificial leather and footwear carry most of the volume.
Artificial leather & rexine
The biggest 266GB application in Bangladesh. Fast, even plasticizer absorption gives a consistent coating and a uniform hand feel across the roll.
Shoe soles & sandals
Injection moulded soles, sandals and footwear compounds — a core line for the Bangladeshi footwear sector.
Electric wire & cable
PVC cable compound and insulation, where high plasticizer uptake and clean gelation decide the quality of the finished sheath.
Hose
Flexible PVC garden hose, suction hose and braided hose, extruded to a consistent wall and finish.
Soft & rigid profile
Both flexible and rigid profile extrusion — one of the few grades on the data sheet that covers both.
Film and sheet
Calendered flexible film and sheet, including floor mat, table cover and tarpaulin stock.
PVC compounds
Base resin for compounding houses supplying cable, footwear, hose and coated-fabric manufacturers.

Notes from the manufacturer's data sheet
- Values are typical, not specifications. The figures above are average typical values measured on the resin. The binding specification for your lot is the quality certificate sent with the shipment.
- Some end uses are regulated. Applications such as medical devices, cosmetics and personal care packaging, food and feed packaging and drinking water may be restricted by national or international standards. Buyers must confirm compliance for their own finished article.
- Read the safety data sheet before use. AGC Vinythai issues a separate SDS covering storage, processing and handling. We can request a copy for you at any time.
- Only the published version is valid. AGC Vinythai may revise the data sheet without notice; the version on their official website always governs.
266GB or 266RC — which one do you need?
Same K value, same manufacturer, one digit apart in the code — and buyers mix them up constantly. The difference is what they are built for: 266GB is the flexible grade, 266RC is the rigid grade. Ordering the wrong one costs you a production run.
| SIAMVIC® 266GB | SIAMVIC® 266RC | |
|---|---|---|
| Built for | Flexible — rexine, hose, cable, soles | Rigid — pipe, profile, duct |
| K value | 66 | 66 |
| Viscosity index | 109 ml/g | 109 ml/g |
| Apparent bulk density | 0.520 kg/l | 0.570 kg/l |
| Particle size on 60 mesh | ≤ 5% | ≤ 2% |
| Processing | Extrusion, injection, calendering | Extrusion, injection |
| Plasticizer uptake | High — porous particle | Lower — denser particle |
| Typical Bangladesh use | Rexine, footwear, cable, hose plants | uPVC pipe & window profile plants |
In plain terms: if your formulation contains plasticizer, you want 266GB. If the finished part must stay rigid and carry load, you want 266RC. The lower bulk density and more open particle structure of 266GB are what let it drink up plasticizer quickly — the same property that makes it wrong for pipe.

SIAMVIC 266GB — buyer FAQ
What is the K value of SIAMVIC 266GB?
SIAMVIC® 266GB has a K value of 66, measured in cyclohexanone to ISO 1628-2. Its viscosity index is 109 ml/g and the degree of polymerization is 1000.
What is the difference between 266GB and 266RC?
Both are K66 with a viscosity index of 109 ml/g, but 266GB is the flexible grade and 266RC is the rigid grade. 266GB has a lower bulk density (0.520 vs 0.570 kg/l) and a more open particle structure, so it absorbs plasticizer quickly — right for rexine, hose, cable and soles. 266RC is denser and tighter, for pipe, profile and duct.
Is 266GB suitable for artificial leather and rexine?
Yes — artificial leather is one of the applications on the manufacturer's data sheet, and it is the largest single use of this grade in Bangladesh.
Can I use 266GB for PVC cable compound?
Yes. Electric wire and cable is listed on the data sheet. High plasticizer uptake and clean gelation are what make it work well in cable formulations.
Can 266GB be used for rigid products?
The data sheet lists soft and rigid profile, so it can run rigid profile. But for pressure pipe, sewage pipe or window profile, 266RC is the correct grade — it has the higher bulk density and tighter particle cut those lines need.
Who is the authorized supplier of AGC Vinythai PVC resin in Bangladesh?
Dunhill Corporation Ltd., Dhaka, has been in business since 1994 and the authorized local agent of AGC Vinythai PCL, Thailand since 1998.
What is the current PVC resin price in Bangladesh?
Prices move with international feedstock rates, freight and LC terms, so we do not publish a fixed rate. Send your quantity and delivery month and we will send a firm offer the same day.
What is the minimum order quantity and packing?
SIAMVIC® resin is supplied in 25 kg bags. Minimum order depends on the container and shipment plan for the month — contact us for the current MOQ and lead time.
