A floor mat has to take shoes, water and sunlight for years without cracking or going hard. Rexine has to stay soft and keep its emboss. Both come down to a resin that holds plasticiser well and calenders evenly.

Calendered mat, coated floor or backed carpet.
A calendered floor mat and a spread-coated floor covering are made two different ways. AGC Vinythai names flooring and floor covering directly in the application list for these grades.
Flexible · Suspension
SIAMVIC® 266GB
The main rexine and mat grade. A flexible resin with good strength and abrasion resistance, and it runs smoothly on extrusion, calendering and moulding lines. AGC lists flooring and artificial leather among its uses.

Micro-suspension · Paste
SIAMVIC® 367NK
The foaming grade for coated floor covering. Excellent foamability, high whiteness and fine cell structure, and it does not stick to the hot drum. Listed for floor covering and wall covering.

The backing and top coat grade. Low viscosity with outstanding viscosity stability, non-sticking on the hot drum. AGC lists carpet backing, table cloth and tarpaulin among its uses.

At a glance
Which grade for which floor
266GB is a powder you compound and calender. The 300 series are paste resins, mixed into a plastisol and spread onto the backing. 258RB is the rigid one, used where the product is a tile rather than a mat.
