PVC resin for toys.
A toy has to be soft in the hand, hold its colour after months on a shelf, and come out of every mould the same. Whether you dip, rotate, calender or inject, the resin sets how the compound behaves before any of that starts.
Grade selection
Soft, rigid or dipped.
An inflatable ball, a hard moulded wheel and a dipped hollow doll are three different processes. These are the SIAMVIC® grades we supply to toy plants. AGC Vinythai names toys directly in the application list for 372LD.
Flexible · Suspension
SIAMVIC® 266GB
The soft grade. Made for flexible PVC with good strength and abrasion resistance, and it processes smoothly on extrusion, calendering and moulding lines.

K 58 · Suspension
SIAMVIC® 258RB
The rigid grade. A low K value and high flow, suited to high-speed injection moulding and clear parts where good transparency matters.

Micro-suspension · Paste
SIAMVIC® 372LD
The toy paste grade. AGC Vinythai lists toys among its uses. Low viscosity with outstanding viscosity stability, and it does not stick to the hot mould. Processed by dipping, moulding and spread coating.

Which grade for which process
Suspension resins are powders you compound and mould. Paste resins are mixed into a plastisol and dipped, sprayed or spread. Your plasticiser, stabiliser and pigment package sets the final softness and colour.
The information shown is for grade selection, not specifications. Actual specifications come with the quality certificate issued for each shipment. Some applications of SIAMVIC® PVC resin may be regulated by national or international standards, and toys are one of them, so you must determine the suitability of any grade for your product and market. Only the technical data sheet published on the official AGC Vinythai website is deemed valid. Safety data sheets are available on request.

Tell us the grade and we will send the data sheet the same day. We can also supply SIAMVIC® 167GZ, a blending resin that AGC Vinythai lists for toys, which speeds up fusion and lowers plastisol viscosity. Safety data sheets are sent on request for any grade.
