SIAMVIC® 271PA
SIAMVIC® 271PA is the highest-K (K71) suspension PVC resin in the AGC Vinythai range, supplied in Bangladesh by Dunhill Corporation Ltd. — the authorized local agent since 1998. It is the specialist soft-PVC grade: long polymer chains and a very open particle structure let it carry the highest plasticizer loading, for soft film and sheet, hose, cable, gasket and artificial leather.
Short answer: if your product needs to be genuinely soft and flexible — soft film and sheet, hose, cable sheath, gasket, or high-quality artificial leather — 271PA is the AGC Vinythai grade written for that job. At K71 with a bulk density of just 0.470 kg/l, the particles are the most porous in the suspension range, so the resin takes up more plasticizer than any other SIAMVIC® S-PVC grade. That means better softness, elongation and low-temperature flexibility in the finished article.

What SIAMVIC 271PA is used for
These six end uses are listed on the manufacturer's own technical data sheet. Every one of them is a soft-PVC application — this grade does not do rigid work.
Artificial leather
High-quality rexine and coated fabric where softness and hand feel matter. The high plasticizer loading gives a supple finish that a K66 resin cannot match.
Electric wire & cable
PVC cable insulation and sheathing, including flexible cable that must stay pliable in cold weather.
Hose
Flexible garden, suction and braided hose that needs to bend repeatedly without cracking or kinking.
Soft film and sheet
Calendered soft film and sheet — table cover, floor mat, curtain, tarpaulin and packaging film.
Soft profile & gasket
Flexible profile, sealing strip, refrigerator and window gasket, where the part must compress and recover.
PVC compounds
Base resin for compounding houses producing soft and highly plasticized compound.

271PA or 266GB — which one do you need?
Both are flexible-application resins, so the choice comes down to how soft the finished article has to be: 271PA carries more plasticizer, 266GB is the general-purpose workhorse.

In plain terms: use 271PA when softness, elongation and low-temperature flexibility decide whether the product passes — gasket, premium coated fabric, flexible cable. Use 266GB for general flexible production and anything injection moulded, including shoe soles and sandals. We supply both, and can advise on the switch if you are moving a formulation between them.

Why does 271PA take more plasticizer than other grades?
Its apparent bulk density is only 0.470 kg/l — the lowest in the suspension range — which reflects a very porous particle. More pore volume means more plasticizer can be absorbed into the particle, giving a softer, more flexible finished article.
What is the difference between 271PA and 266GB?
271PA is K71 with 129 ml/g viscosity index and 0.470 kg/l bulk density, carrying the highest plasticizer loading for very soft articles. 266GB is K66 with 109 ml/g and 0.520 kg/l, the general-purpose flexible grade, and it also covers injection moulding for shoe soles and sandals.
Can 271PA be injection moulded?
Injection is not listed on this grade's data sheet — only extrusion and calendering. For injection moulded flexible parts such as shoe soles, use 266GB instead.
