SIAMVIC® 372LD
SIAMVIC® 372LD is a K72 paste (emulsion) PVC resin made by microsuspension polymerization at AGC Vinythai PCL, Thailand, supplied in Bangladesh by Dunhill Corporation Ltd. — the authorized local agent since 1998. This is not a dry-blend resin: it is mixed with plasticizer into a liquid plastisol for spread coating, dipping and moulding. Its calling card is low paste viscosity with outstanding viscosity stability.
Short answer: if you spread-coat artificial leather, tarpaulin or conveyor belt, dip tool handles or glass bottles, or mould toys, crown cork seals and traffic cones, 372LD is the AGC Vinythai paste grade written for that job. Two properties matter most on a coating line: the paste flows easily at low viscosity, and that viscosity stays where it was mixed instead of thickening in the pot. It also releases cleanly from hot metal — no sticking on the drum or mould.

What SIAMVIC 372LD is used for
The manufacturer's data sheet groups the applications by process. All three are plastisol routes — the resin is mixed into a liquid paste first, then coated, dipped or moulded.
Artificial leather & rexine
The main 372LD application in Bangladesh. Low, stable viscosity gives an even coat weight across the width and a consistent surface on every roll.
Tarpaulin & canvas
Coated tarpaulin, canvas and truck cover fabric, where the paste must penetrate the weave evenly without flooding it.
Table cloth & curtain
PVC table cover, curtain and decorative sheet — high-volume consumer lines that live or die on surface finish.
Conveyor belt & carpet backing
PVC conveyor belting, coil coating and carpet backing, where good adhesion into the substrate matters.
Toys, crown cork seal, traffic cone
Rotational and slush moulded articles. Clean release from hot metal means fewer rejects and less mould cleaning downtime.
Tool handles & glass bottle coating
Dip-coated hand tool grips, pliers handles and protective coating on glass bottles.
Why processors choose this grade
- Low paste viscosity. Easier to pump, spread and level, so you can run thinner coats or faster line speeds without starving the knife.
- Outstanding viscosity stability. The paste does not thicken appreciably as it stands, so the last drum of the batch behaves like the first — fewer adjustments mid-run.
- Non-sticking on hot metal. Releases cleanly from the mould, hot drum and coating roller, cutting rejects and cleaning downtime.

Notes from the manufacturer's data sheet
- Values are typical, not specifications. The figures above are average typical values measured on the resin. The binding specification for your lot is the quality certificate sent with the shipment.
- Some end uses are regulated. Applications such as medical devices, cosmetics and personal care packaging, food and feed packaging and drinking water may be restricted by national or international standards. Buyers must confirm compliance for their own finished article.
- Read the safety data sheet before use. AGC Vinythai issues a separate SDS covering storage, processing and handling. We can request a copy for you at any time.
- Only the published version is valid. AGC Vinythai may revise the data sheet without notice; the version on their official website always governs.
372LD or 367NK — which paste grade do you need?
Both are AGC Vinythai paste resins for spread coating, and many rexine producers buy both. The split is simple: 372LD makes the skin and the solid coats, 367NK makes the foam layer.
| SIAMVIC® 372LD | SIAMVIC® 367NK | |
|---|---|---|
| Built for | Solid coats, dipping, moulding | Foamed layers |
| K value | 72 | 67 |
| Viscosity index | 132 ml/g | 113 ml/g |
| Polymerization degree | 1340 | 1040 |
| Headline advantage | Low viscosity, viscosity stability | Foamability, fine cell, high whiteness |
| Applications | Artificial leather, tarpaulin, table cloth, conveyor belt, carpet backing, toys, dipped goods | Artificial leather, wall & floor covering, canvas, sealants |
| Moulding & dipping | Yes — toys, tool handles, bottles | Not listed |
In practice, a cushioned rexine line uses 367NK for the foam coat and 372LD for the compact skin coat above it — they work together rather than competing. If you also dip tool handles or mould toys and traffic cones, 372LD covers those too. We supply both and can quote them on the same shipment.

SIAMVIC 372LD — buyer FAQ
What is SIAMVIC 372LD?
It is a paste (emulsion) PVC resin made by microsuspension polymerization, with a K value of 72, viscosity index of 132 ml/g and degree of polymerization of 1340. It is mixed with plasticizer into a liquid plastisol rather than dry blended.
What is 372LD used for?
Spread coating — artificial leather, tarpaulin and canvas, table cloth, curtain, conveyor belt, coil coating and carpet backing. Moulding — toys, crown cork seal and traffic cone. Dipping — tool handles and glass bottle coating.
What does "low viscosity with good stability" actually mean on my line?
Low viscosity means the paste pumps and spreads easily, so you can run thinner coats or faster line speeds. Stability means it does not thicken much as it stands, so the last drum of a batch behaves like the first and you are not re-adjusting the knife mid-run.
What is the difference between 372LD and 367NK?
372LD is the general paste grade at K72, chosen for low viscosity and viscosity stability, and it also covers moulding and dipping. 367NK is the foaming grade at K67, chosen for foamability, fine cell structure and high whiteness. A cushioned rexine line often uses 367NK for the foam coat and 372LD for the skin coat above it.
What is the difference between paste PVC and suspension PVC?
Paste resin (E-PVC) like 372LD is mixed into a liquid plastisol for coating, dipping and moulding. Suspension resin (S-PVC) like 271PA or 266GB is dry blended and processed by extrusion or calendering. The choice is decided by your equipment, not by the finished product.
Why does the data sheet mention 55 phr DINP?
Paste viscosity only means something at a stated plasticizer loading. AGC measures the published viscosity curve on a paste prepared at 55 parts DINP per hundred parts resin, so you can compare grades on the same basis.
Who is the authorized supplier of AGC Vinythai PVC resin in Bangladesh?
Dunhill Corporation Ltd., Dhaka, has been in business since 1994 and the authorized local agent of AGC Vinythai PCL, Thailand since 1998. We supply both the suspension and paste SIAMVIC® ranges.
