SIAMVIC® 261RZ
SIAMVIC® 261RZ is a low-K (K61) suspension PVC resin from AGC Vinythai PCL, Thailand, supplied in Bangladesh by Dunhill Corporation Ltd. — the authorized local agent since 1998. Its lower molecular weight gives easier flow at lower temperature: the right resin for rigid film and sheet, foam board, bottles and rigid compounds.
Short answer: if you are calendering rigid film or sheet, producing PVC foam board, blow-moulding bottles or compounding rigid material, 261RZ is the AGC Vinythai grade written for that job. At K61 the polymer chains are shorter than a pipe-grade resin, so the melt flows more easily and fills thin sections and complex shapes at a lower processing temperature — less strain on the line and less risk of thermal degradation.

These are the end uses listed on the manufacturer's own technical data sheet — not a general guess. 261RZ is a low-K rigid grade, so it sits in a different part of the market from pipe resins.
Rigid film and sheet
Calendered and extruded rigid PVC film and sheet, including thermoforming stock, stationery sheet and packaging sheet. Easy flow helps hold gauge across the width.
Rigid foam board
PVC foam board for signage, partitions, cabinets and furniture panel — a large and growing line in Bangladesh. Lower K value supports a fine, even cell structure.
Bottles
Blow-moulded PVC bottles and containers, where good melt flow and clarity matter more than the high melt strength a pipe grade delivers.
PVC compounds

Both are rigid-application suspension resins from AGC Vinythai. The difference is the K value, and it decides everything downstream: 261RZ is the low-K flow grade, 266RC is the higher-K strength grade.

What is 261RZ used for?
The AGC Vinythai technical data sheet lists rigid film and sheet, rigid foam, bottles and PVC compounds. In Bangladesh the biggest volumes go into rigid sheet and PVC foam board.
Can I use 261RZ for uPVC pipe?
It is not the right grade for pipe. At K61 the melt strength is lower than a pipe resin needs. For pressure pipe, sewage pipe and rigid profile, use SIAMVIC® 266RC (K66) instead — we supply both.
What is the difference between 261RZ and 266RC?
261RZ is K61 with a viscosity index of 92 ml/g and easier flow, suited to film, sheet, foam and bottles. 266RC is K66 with a viscosity index of 109 ml/g and higher melt strength, suited to pipe, profile and duct.
Is 261RZ suitable for PVC foam board?
Yes — rigid foam is one of the four applications on the manufacturer's data sheet. The lower K value supports a fine, even cell structure and good surface finish on the board.
